AFOOT
To go on foot to the Hostel La Guitarra from Poznań Main Railway Station – takes about 15 minutes. You should go out to the parking in front of the former main entrance, go under the viaduct up about 500 meters to roundabout: Rondo Kaponiera (150m). At the roundabout turn right into Św. Marcin Street going towards the Castle and the Old Town Square. You should walk followinng this street (Św. Marcin), straight ahead for about 1 kilometer. At the Gallery MM on the left, turn left, following the line of the tram. Than – 10 meters around the corner -please enter the gate of the first yellow building on the left side. If the gate is closed – please ring a bell. Than – please – go through the yard. The hostel is located in the rear of the courtyard.
To go on foot to the Hostel La Guitarra from PKS Poznań Main Bus Stop – takes about 10 minutes. You should go through the underpass to reach the street: Ratajczaka (50m). Follow this street to reach the cross with Św. Marcin Street (200m). Turn right, and walk about 50 meters. At the Gallery MM on the left, turn left, following the line of the tram. Than – 10 meters around the corner -please enter the gate of the first yellow building on the left side. If the gate is closed – please ring a bell. Than – please – go through the yard. The hostel is located in the rear of the courtyard.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From the Main Railway Station (PKP): ‘Most Dworcowy’ stop (in order to get at the stop you need to leave the Main Railway Station building with the main exit, go straight for about 100 m, pass under a bridge, go up stairs onto the bridge, turn right and keep ahead for about 50m):
1. Get on the tram no 5 (direction: Stomil)
2. Get off on the third stop – Marcinkowskiego
15 minutes ticket fare costs 2 zł
Distance: around 1,5 km
From the Western Railway Station (PKP): ‘Dworzec Zachodni’ stop (in order to get at that tram stop you need to leave the Railway Station through the western exit):
1. Get on the tram no 5 (direction: Stomil)
2. Get off on the fourth stop – Marcinkowskiego
You need to get a 15 minutes ticket for 2 zł
Distance: around 1,6 km
From the Bus Station (PKS): ‘Dworzec PKS’ stop:
1. Get on the tram no 10 (direction: Połabska), 11 (direction: Piątkowska) or 12 (direction: Os. Sobieskiego). You need to get at the stop: Rondo Kaponiera (2 stops)
2. Change to the tram no 2 (direction: Dębiec), 5 (direction: Stomil) or 13 (direction: Starołęka) – get off on the second stop – Marcinkowskiego
You need to get a 15 minutes ticket for 2 zł
Distance: around 1,7 km
From the Ławica airport:
1. When at the airport, get on the bus no 48 (direction Bałtyk), get off on the ‘Bałtyk’ stop
Go to the ‘Rondo Kaponiera’ stop
2. Change to the tram no 2 (direction: Dębiec), 5 (direction: Stomil) or 13 (direction: Starołęka) – get off on the second stop – Marcinkowskiego
You need to buy a 30-minutes ticket at a price of 3,60 zł (1 EUR) + a 15-minutes ticket for 2 zł (0,5 EUR)

TAXI
Taxis in Poznań are relatively cheap. Rough prices for a taxi ride to our hostel on a weekday are given here:
a) from the bus station (PKS) – around 15 zł (4 EUR)
b) from the train station (PKP) – around 15 zł (4 EUR)
c) from Ławica airport – around 30 zł (8 EUR)
for a night ride or at weekends/holidays you need to add 50%.
